I'm sure there's a dirt-easy solution for this that I haven't found, but anyway:
As the title implies, I'm trying to set up a part in 6/8 time with the hats playing four times a bar - that is, in sixteenths:
ONE two three FOUR five six SEVEN eight nine TEN eleven twelve.
None of the hat settings have worked, and a lot of them don't seem to like 6/8 time to begin with - I might get hits on One, Three, Seven, and Nine, and nothing in between.
What's the simplest way to get this hat rhythm into the Brain, short of hand-programming it?
Cheers. |

What I would do is this:
- hand-program the four hihats into an empty bar
- save the bar
- open the style you would like to use and disable its hihat element (left-click on element name in the brain)
- use 'Add-Groove Importer' in the brain menu and then load your saved bar into the importer element. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Fair enough.
Will other brain controls like the hat openness and power varying still work with this, or am I stuck with the hits as I program them? (At work right now, so I can't check) |

Yes, that will still work. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
