an old tune me, my brother and a friend wrote when we were kids. i decided to do write a solo and produce the track.
https://www.reverbnation.com/brianblevins/song/31820711-dlj-dog-bite
i think it has lyrics but i have no idea what they are so there are no vocals on this track.
that is Mike on the throne if anyone cares. |

Great solo Brian, you killed it. I really like the "Prog-ish" elements in some of the sections. Love the keyboards @ :47, wish that motif had lasted longer.
Out of curiosity, what's the story behind the title if there is one? |

Beer I guess . I do not remember seriously.
I will listen that part at 47s and see what I can do there. I think I have a rogue key part playing where I do not want it too. It is pissing me off really because I am not able to find what the hell it is. I must have a track hidden reaper BUT it does not play when I am playing the tune but only shows up when I render. Odd.
Thanks for listening and commenting. |

i remember now. that started as a guitar part but the guitars were stepping on each there so i switched. i can mess around and make it longer i am sure to see how it sounds.
there is a really killer part my brother wrote for the end that I have no clue how he did it so i made a new riff at the end. not even close to what he did in the cool dept. |

i just repeated the part but lowered the volume of the direct synth but increased the pre-fader send to the verb to push it back some.
i want the guitar rhythm front there backing off the guitars and getting more guitar oriented. |

| I like that Brian, sounds much more cohesive now. I agree with Jason that I'm getting a Rush vibe from parts of it, more during their Grace Under Pressure period though. Really well done. |
