it sounds like the 16ths on the Hats vary in Power level and timing somewhat.
i can easily create the pattern with 16th notes but i am not able to get the feel right.
i tried groove weights but it still does not feel right.
any ideas?
thanks

Hi Brian,
I would start with 16th swing and Hi Hat Vary. I'm at work so I can't dig into it at the moment. HTH |

It may be best to let jamstix create a bar, then manually edit the velocity and timing of the hats to get the feel you want and then use "use groove as style".
Maybe 1/16ths with the 1/4s having a higher velocity (accented). Hard to get a feel because the clip is short and the player quickly advances to the next clip. _________________ Core i7 4712QM, 16GB, Cubase 9 Pro on Windows 10. Scarlett 2i2. M-Audio Axiom Pro 61.
