You're correct that Jamstix changes the midi somewhat. I didn't notice the differences at first because I was listening to the drums layered over the mp3 you uploaded. I don't own SSD so I used SD2. Here's a link to 2 .mid files that show what I wound up with.

IMO the differences are pretty minor and could be eliminated with some simple editing. They're close enough that I could live with it but we all have our preferred workflow. |

well I think this is a bit of an issue that could use addressing...
I love jamstix SO much - but it's probably my most loved software and my most mysterious and inconsistent!
I have some stuff that is sounding great now though. |

No arguments here. I'm sure that Ralph will get back to addressing things like this that aren't exactly showstoppers once the torch & pitchfork bearing OSX users return to their homes.  |
