You're correct that Jamstix changes the midi somewhat. I didn't notice the differences at first because I was listening to the drums layered over the mp3 you uploaded. I don't own SSD so I used SD2. Here's a link to 2 .mid files that show what I wound up with.

IMO the differences are pretty minor and could be eliminated with some simple editing. They're close enough that I could live with it but we all have our preferred workflow.

well I think this is a bit of an issue that could use addressing...

I love jamstix SO much - but it's probably my most loved software and my most mysterious and inconsistent! Wink

I have some stuff that is sounding great now though.

No arguments here. I'm sure that Ralph will get back to addressing things like this that aren't exactly showstoppers once the torch & pitchfork bearing OSX users return to their homes. Laughing
