|

Hi all,
So I know that Sonar needs to be running for Jamstix to work. My question is:
When arranging patterns for each part of a song, (intro, verse chorus, bridge, etc...) what is the best way to keep the drum pattern currently being edited to keep playing?
Do I really have to have sonar record nothing to keep the engine going?
Would a stand alone mini host be good for this?
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Erik,
MiniHost will work, you can easily exchange the arrangement between it and Sonar via an FXB file.
I work primarily in Sonar and I usually just add an envelope point to keep Sonar playing. You could also add a dummy note at bar 200 or so. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thanks Ralph,
I didn't even think about an envelope point. That is great.
