Keywords are not currently saved to the Jamstix data (the jam itself is but not the key words) so that is normal.

I rather suspect that the LM4 is storing its data in a way that is not compatible with Jamstix. What is the file date on the lm4.dll? Have you tried just routing the Jamstix output to the LM4 in SX versus loading it within Jamstix? That way the Lm4 data gets stored via SX.

I haven't paid for Battery yet ($240CAN), if someone thinks there is a better way to go, please chirp in.

Hi Carl,
I own both B2 and JS, B2 doesn't even remotely come close to JS's sound quality imho. Get the JS drum paks if you don't already have them and forget about B2.
There is only one step up in quality from JS, but it comes at a very high price (not so much financially but in learning curve and system resources) - I'm talking about DFHS and C&V, some say BFD is in a similar league, though I'm not convinced yet.
Talking about acoustic drums only, don't care much about all those electronic drum sounds.
Cheers, Rhino

What he said!
Since Jamstix and the DrumPaks I haven´t even touched my B2.
And I find I use DFHS much less than before, too.

Which one do I get, or should I get both? If I get the drumPacks, does that mean I don't have to do the setup_data?
Thanks,
Carl

Jamstix contains all the virtual drummer functionality, as well as a set of great sounds. You can expand the sounds by purchasing the various paks.

If you buy Jamstix plus all the paks in one go (Jamstix Jamboree Bundle), you make quite a saving.

Check out the Rayzoon Online Shop http://www.rayzoon.com/buy.html for details.

Hope that helps!

My snare pattern is no longer played. Snare accents of Jamstix are.
Back to X9-5 everything ok (except the sync issue Rolling Eyes ). Checked two times. This is a Brush Pak project if that helps.

Could you send me an FXB (Save Bank) of this situation to support[at]rayzoon.com?

So I purchased the All-Packs bundle. Unzipped and placed the /RXPs in the AddOns folder. Fired up Forte, was prompted to install each pack in alphabetical order, all seemed to go fine until I came to the last one, the SnarePak.

Installation error: Stream write error. Please contact Rayzoon support for help. Then a 2nd error:

An error occured during the data load after "Sample Load" with message: Stream write error.

When I press play, all I get is a couple of snare hits every 8 or so bars.

How do I select DrumPak2, vs- DrumPak1?

I never installed the Jamstix_Data on that PC, could that be somerthing to do with it?

Thanks,
Carl

Please re-download the SnarePak and repeat the installation. Let me know if the error still occurs.

Go to the mapping tab and click 'Load', then select mappings that start with the name of the desired Pak (i.e. DrumPak 2 - Standard)

No, but we recommend you do install it.

Ralph
Looks like you guys have done a lot of work on X9-6 and X9-7.
A lot of it is REALLY important hi-hat realism.

This kind of thing is VERY important as it makes Jamstix sound even MORE like a human.

I'm still very patiently waiting for the beta that will have the function of putting snare accents on the 'lugs' in the arrange window.

I'm sure you guys will still have that on your list.

Thank you for X9-6 and X9 7

The samples are definately HiQ, there's a lot to go thru, any fav's? Anybuddy? I will miss my LM4 Soul Kit and the Acid Jazz kit, but these might help me do something fresh.
