hey! was wondering if anyone could help me out, am trying to figure out if i can trigger parameters such as 'power play' and '8th shuffle' in real time using a midi controller keyboard? i can draw envelopes after the fact but for me there is no point in doing this as inspiration will already have been lost by that stage!

while jamstix is great as a compositional aid/jam buddy, hearing the same or similar rhythms over and over i think does more to stifle creativity than enhance it. live loops are a great idea, but only if you know what u are looking for ahead of the fact.

anyhoo if anyone can help me that'd be great! am using live 5.02 and cubase sx3, cheers

I know that there is a whole range of parameters (including power play and 8th shuffle) that you can map to a controller in Tracktion 2. Not sure how to do this in Live or Cubase though.
