I've been working on a rocktune in which I want the kick drum to be really solid. The problem is that Jamstix varies the volume of the kick drum and I don't know what to do about it... The kick drum doesn't have a variance slider, like the hi-hats, so I do not know what's causing the variations in volume. Is there a way to keep the kick drum the way I want them?

I'm using various patterns but they are all based on a pattern with the same kick drum. I have a kick set at volume 127, one at 100, at 110 and at 127 again. But the volume isn't steady. Sometimes the last kick is sotfer than the thir! I tried to reset the patterns in the arrangement window because I though some setting might have altered the volume, but without any luck: the volume changes at the same places.

This is a real problem for me because the song is quit heavy and every now and then the kick drum just seems to be missing...

There is a 'Velocity Variance' slider in the jam tab. Make sure it's all the way left.
