I am preparing to buy Jamstix but have a small problem.
Basically I need to download the product onto one computer which I have at home and then transfer it to another computer in the studio which does not have internet access. I do not actually want to keep the product on my home computer. Is this possible with regard to activation keys and so on? If not, is it possible to buy the software on CD and have it sent (paying for shipping obviously).

No problem. You can download the files on your home machine and the burn it on a CD or USB stick along with the license key file.

You can then install it on the studio computer. Installation and activation of Jamstix do not require an Internet connection.

Hello again.
Well I bought the product this morning and have just received an mail telling me what to do but I am unsure how to follow it through. Could I have some clarification please.

Here is the email I received:

DrumPak #1 - Product Download

Note that you will need the download login/password sent to you in your DrumPak #1 electronic delivery E-mail for these steps.
STEP #1 - PROGRAM DOWNLOAD

Download this file and unzip it into the 'addons' folder of your Jamstix directory. If you do not see this folder, please update to Jamstix 1.32 (or higher) and run the updated Jamstix once, which will create the folder. You should also keep a copy of the downloaded file somewhere else for backup purposes.

Please right-click on this link and choose 'Save Target As'.
Download DrumPak #1 (100MB)

STEP #2 - AUTO-INSTALLATION

Simply run Jamstix and it will detect the DrumPak file in the 'addons' folder and install it automatically.

Proiblem is this: I don't have an addons folder as I have never used the programme before. Why do I need to update if I have just bought the newest version? I do not wish to run the programme on my home computer but copy it and run it on the studio computer. I am concerned that I may mess things up if I don't have a clear idea of how to proceed...

Yes, install Jamstix first and then install the Paks.
