I write songs and produce demos. My collaborator is a guitarist. I play some keyboard, but neither of us drums.

I see a lot of JAM functions here, but how easy is it to create drum patterns
with Jamstix? Will it drum "on the fly" with a pre-recorded demo, or does it only do this in a live jam mode?

I see value in this if it can do drum parts by itself to "fill in" the demo, prior to finding a seasoned drummer. What say ye?

Hi! Smile

When your pre-recorded demos follow a certain tempo in your host application that Jamstix can follow, then you´ll be fine.
Why don´t you check out the Jamstix demo to see what it can do for you?

It's very easy. Jamstix has a built-in arranger, rhythm editor and library. With it you can create rhythms from scratch or pick them from its library and then quickly assemble a complete performance in the arranger with rhythm switches. fills, intro etc.

Jam works with live or recorded MIDI data.
