Is there a way to have Jamsix play other percussive instruments, like the congas, in a meaningful way?

Jamstix does not come with Congas so you'd have to load a drum synth that has congas into Jamstix (or route the JS output to it). You would then experiment by assigning the conga key to various sounds in Jamstix and see what you like.
I recommend you let JS free jam with 40% funkiness and 70% complexity, assign a low conga to the kick and a high conga to the snare and see if you like the result. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Hey, this works perfectly! I had to make sure the hats were mapped to a quiet hit. Thanks!

'Jamborine' for the percussion VST when you get to it?
