I think I really like your product and want to buy,so I just downloaded the demo and am running it in Cubase LE, but when I try manual jam I cant get the snare to hit on the 2nd beat. It will on the 1, 3, and 4th but not 2nd.
also, how can I change the sounds of individual sounds. (does the demo have some different sounds, kits that I can try)
its probably in the manual somewhere but i dont see it.

Please save the Jamstix state to a FXB via 'Save Bank' in Cubase and send it to support[at]rayzoon.com so we can tell you what's up with that.

The demo only comes with one kit. Sounds are changed by going to the mapping tab, selecting the sound type in the list on the top and then changing the selection in the 'sample' listbox. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Click on the disc icon on top of the Jamstix GUI and choose 'Save Bank'. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

thanks much. sorry for sounding so dumb on this stuff. Also I just noticed in your manual (yeah I'm reading instead of working!!!!!) It says something about if Half-Time is checked the the snare will not play on the second beat. I suspect this might be the problem simple enough!!!! If that doesnt do it, I will send you the FXB file.
one last question. right now, i dont have any midi controller/ instrument hardware to connect to my setup. is there still a way to send midi info to jamstix (in other words, can i make my keyboard act kinda like my controller for the time being? |

The MIDI analysis of Jamstix is based on multiple keys being played simultaneously (in other words: chords) so a 'virtual keyboard' won't do you much good.
For the time being you can feed MID files into Jamstix or even use Jamstix without any input: just use library rhythms and arrange them as needed and/or use free jam and control velocity via automation envelopes in the host. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
