|
|
Is there a way to include song tempo changes when saving the MIDI output to a file? I have some projects, painstakingly tempo mapped against a live recording (wav file) in one host. I'd like a way to load the saved MIDI output from Jamstix into another host to play back with Jamstix in that host. But, the tempo changes don't seem to be saved in the MIDI output, so everything is at the initial tempo of the project.
Sorry if the question doesn't make much sense ... sleep deprived from having so much fun with this product. |

You'll have to find a way to get the tempo track from one host to the other. Try saving the project to a MIDI file (in the host) and then loading it in the second host and see if the tempo changes conveyed. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Unfortunately I don't think the host (Guitar Tracks Pro 3) can do that. It's not really meant as a vsti host, but Jamstix works as a vst effect. I was hoping that Jamstix could export a tempo track as part of the MIDI output. I have other ways of working around this, but it would be nice if it were possible.
Thanks for the quick response. I'll continue with the other workarounds. |
