Hi --

is there any easy way of getting jamstix to replace the hihat with ride hits ? I'm thinking jazz style beats here.

I can't see a way of doing this short of creating some kind of custom mapping that replaces the hihat sample.

In manual mode, simply click ''Always Ride' in the hihat panel of the rhythm tab and Jamstix plays ride instead of hats. All hihat settings will now affect the ride.

In free jam you can do the same by clicking 'Always Ride' on the jam tab.
