Hi - I have been playing with the demo version and I have a couple of questions:
1. How do I program my own rhythms, save them and then use them in the arrenger window to have full control?
2. Once I have played the song through, if I find one measure is too soft, how do I make it harder/louder?
3. Once I play through in Free Jam mode, if I rewind and hit play again, Jamstix changes things. How do I prevent it from doing that?
4. Can I easily create my own fills, with snare rolls, tom rolls, etc?

Just go to the arranger, pick a rhythm and click on the name, which takes you to the rhythm tab. Now you can edit the rhythm as needed and then click 'Save' to store it in the library.

I always recommend automation envelopes in the host. In this case you'd pick the 'Velocity' parameter and then raise it as needed during the measure.

Record your input (MIDI or audio) while jamming so Jamstix will repeat the jam the same if you play the recorded track.
Alternatively, hit 'Export To MIDI' in the arranger right after the jam and save the jam to a MID filel, then switch Jamstix to 'Manual Mode', switch 'Mute Brain' on and load the MID file into the Jamstix MIDI track

It can be done but is not easy (editing text files).
There is also an unsupported tool from a Jamstix user (Acabreira) available to create fills. Search the forum for 'accent creator'.

Ah, this is the information I've been looking for. I followed your steps and I've found success. Perhaps you've mentioned this before in the forum or even in the manual but for some reason I just wasn't getting it. But now I do. Thanks.
