Hi! Although snares seems to be the best sounding piece of jamstix kits, I´ve found that toms are pretty impressive too. I have a little question: The intros, fills and ends are written for jamstix mappings, Could I build a map with drumpack/snarepack with only three toms (3,4 and 5)? I like classic drums kits, not many pieces... I´ve tried to play some intros but some notes are missing when I mute (no sound) the higher toms (1 and 2).

Greetings

Glad you like the toms!

In Jamstix 1.5 you can get a 3-tom kit by setting Tom 2 and Tom 4 to 'No Sound'. Jamstix will then play Tom 1 for the Tom 2 events and Tom 5 for the Tom 4 events.

For a 2-tom kit, set Toms 2,3 and 4 to 'No Sound'.

Mmm, one thing more Ralph, I´ve tried a few times make the shaker sound all along with snares, but I´m unable. Should I play the shaker in freejam, manualjam...???

Please elaborate. Do you want the shaker to play on top of every snare note?

Sorry, man, I still don't get it Embarassed

If you want shakers on top of the snare then I'd assign the shaker sound to the tambourine sound in the mapping tab and then check the 'Tambourine On Snare' box in the percussion dialog.

And the cool thing is that you *can* do this.
