I'm new to recording and have been working with Sony Acid Music Studio.
I cannot get freejam to work with this program. I try to add AudioM8 as an fx before recording and it crashes my system.

My question is can I freejam with Acid Music Studio?

If not, I am looking at Cubase SE3.0 or Cakewalk Sonar Home Studio XL.
Will either of these work with freejam in Jamstix and is one better than the other?
Thanks

I am not familiar with Acid Music Studio.

Cubase SE and Cakewalk HS both have their strengths and weaknesses. I would recommend trying the Cakewalk HS demo to see if you like the workflow.

Both will work great with Jamstix, audioM8 and free jam.

If you want to free jam live with a MIDI controller and VSTi then I'd check if both allow sending the MIDI input to multiple tracks simultaneously (SX and Sonar do that but I'm not sure of the SE and HS versions).
