Hi there:

New user here - bought the $129.00 Drum pak's 1 & 2 & Snare deal…too tired to read the manual last night, but everything (especially the kits) are sounding BOSS!

Am I to understand that without the Brush Kit being purchased, you can not jam say a Blues Swing or any kind of Swing time? Tell me I’m wrong about this, please….

Hi Martin, you can swing without the BrushPak. Just hit the '8th Shuffle' in the jam tab control panel and pick/create a fitting rhythm or find a free jam setting you like.

BrushPak makes things easier with 'Swing' characters and additional library rhythms but its' geared toward jazz swing, not blues.
