| I wanted to know what is the best way to edit what i just recorded in free jam.I just recorded a midi track of my free jam or say(key word Jam). I don,t like the begining of the drum track.I find that there are to many fills in the begining of the song, how do i edit them out without changing the rest of of the drum track.I want to change these fills to rythem, but i also want to keep the rest of the track that i recorded as is.How do i do this in jamstix? |

Once you record the MIDI output of Jamstix, Jamstix can no longer help and you are confined to whatever MIDI editing tools your host has.
I would solve your problem within Jamstix by switching to manual jam and then going to the arranger and right-clicking on all bars that show an 'F' for fill that I don't want and clicking 'Reset' in the selector box to kill the fill. Sometimes it may be a snare or tom accent and not a fill that is too much. In that case double-click on the offending bar and open the snare or tom accent list and select 'No Accent'. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
