Me too, Doc mentioned it in the forum. And being a curious person I tried it out and ordered it. And I'm very glad I did it (almost bought Groove Agent 2 a few days earlier instead *g*)

I put myself to the majority of the KVR boards and advertises.

First I was sceptical what this "thing" was, then I watched the demos (the narrator really sounded like "duh! Not in the mood") and was suddenly hooked. As the groupbuy came up over X-Mas, I couldn't resist anymore.

Since then I infected a couple of friends who are "beginners" in terms of making music, and a couple of parttime drummers. As parttime drummer myself I really appreciate the efforts put into this VSTi. No hassle anymore to program ghoststrokes, thinking of what can be played and what not. Now I can simply focus on other stuff - the arrangement, the sound. No hours of programming, but minutes. With the same, if not better, result.

Thanks again. And I'm really looking forward to more samplepacks. (and maybe a possibility to put them somewhere else on my HDD - but this is just a minor issue).

If memory serves, it was the Toontrack forum. I run DFHS: Custom & Vintage, and was checking out posts there.

I have had a blast with the demo, and just ordered the Jamboree Pack a short while ago. And I've passed the 'Jamstix Information' URL around to several friends, so who knows, there may be a few "word of mouth" posts in the future.

Some of those friends are drummers, who were duly impressed, but more interested in what the Bassist might be (or do). They'd like a bass player to jam along with their drumming. (And some of the latest electronic drumming gear, just to round out the wishlists I've heard Smile )

I heard about this in a forum for Line6, it took a couple of days before I even checked it out. At first I was pissed off, because I really didn't want to have to learn something new, I just want to start making music, but the learning curve wasn't that bad. Now that I'm starting to see what I can do with this, I'm extremely excited!

I'm planning on purchasing the product for the use of the rhythm/arranger more than the freejam. So far my approach with the demo is to create a basic drum track, verses, choruses and such, then record my guitars and bass, and then slide the faders a little to the right letting the program do its thing. I'm so happy that I found this!

I saw Jamsticks add earlier in some of mags EM, Future Music or Computer Music mag. Quick pick review on Electronic Musician along with demo from Rayzoon site made me buy this product. This seems to be exactly, what i was looking for.
Now im just eagerly waiting for return mail from Rayzoon Smile
