Hey, I'm pretty new to js and it's an amazing piece of software, but one thing about it gets to me. I like to play fast.. about 240bpm is my average desired drumming speed for heavy/ modern punk beats, and at those speeds, I'm guessing the drum engine is in overdrive, because js tops out my processor (2.8Ghz) in about 12 seconds! I understand that this is in jam mode, so it's asking a whole lot, but are there any ways to streamline the processing demand when such speeds are needed.. or something like that anyway. Just thought I'd ask before I consider spending a whole lot of cash on a stupidly fast pc! Thanks! My *moderate speed* jams sound awesome!

This has to do with the release trails, which are piling up fast at such BPMs. The best way to reduce the CPU load is to go to the mapping tab and move the 'Voice Reduction' slider all the way or almost all the way to the right.

Let me know if this doesn't help.
