i got jamstix 1, it was working great with my midi keyboard and sonar 4 PE on my brand new athlon 3500.

so i get my 3rd HD, the SATA 7200 120 gig and install it. It formats as NTSF and seems to work. I run a check dsk and everything seems to be fine. I then install BFD. I use my new drive for storing all the samples. I load up new file and jam stix starts rocking with the BFD samples. The singer and I write a beat and get a tempo...everything is going great, but at one point, the computer just restarted for no reason..struck me funny, but we kept going and saved the session.

I wake up today and try to load the session. Sonar gives me an .exe error. the computer crahes subsequently after. I notice the error comes as jamstix is loading. I start a new file, and run jamstix to see what gives. jamstix loads w/ it's default map. So it seems to be a problem w/ BFD and jamstix. I THINK. I'm not even sure at this point. But I can't load any projects w/ jamstix and BFD and am wondering if you would know anythin about this error. It is really hard to find support for it. I know that it happens because an I/O driver will not release info and will cause the OS to freeze up. I need to find which driver it is and fix that thing.

Maybe I installed BFD wrong somehow? I don't even know to be honest. It could be a jamstix BFD thing, thats why i posted here.

How many outputs did you select in Jamstix and which BFD DLL did you load?

for midi out puts i belive it is at 1, but i have 9 for the BFD. I think I had the MIDI outputs at 9 too for one project. I also have Sonar open all the outputs when it asks when i start the jamstix vsti.

is there a process i should try to test all this out? I am wondering if this is some kind of midi error im having w/ the oxygen. I am not running any other VStis yet so it is narrowed down to jamstix/Oxyegn/and BFD.

Please send me the CWB of the project to support@rayzoon.com so we can try to load it here and see if it's a problem with Jamstix/BFD itself
