Ralph
Those snares sound good... there is 3 or 4 I really like.
Some sound a bit harsh... but they'll suit Harder music won't they?
I liked the:
pork pie - Very much
Slingerland brass - Very Much!
Gretsch Kevlar
Vinatge Stewart - Very much
Tama Rockstar
pearl Popcorn
Thats more than half the samples I'd use... the rest were not my thing... but others will dig them.
Please tell me... the MP3 with all the snares named... are these samples played back in JAMSTIX or are they recordings played while you had the kits and mics set-up??
I really am looking forward to the individual snare paks.
I have one or two (not 125) mp3 samples taken off CD's (for reference)that I reckon the snares are just so PERFECT!! I'll send them to you sometime soon.

Yep, it's a spectrum. Personally, I'm in love with the 10x7 Popcorn...

It s a small MIDI clip, fed into Jamstix in 'dumb' mode. They are all in close-ambient mode with fairly low ambience (20% or so).
Of course you get all the snares in close-stereo mode as well in the Pak.
