I definitely saw it in KVR - I think I saw a post from you marketing it and downloaded the beta release before the product was released.

KVRAudio
That's one bit of advertising E-mail that I do like to get!
Yes like some of the above comments...I have NEVER used JAMSTIX in Jam mode or used AudioM8.
I use it exclusively for drum pattern creation and arranging.

Well, I knew about software like Groove Agent and BFD and thought there should probably be other things out there (hopefully cheaper), so I actually typed in "virtual drums" or "virtual drummer" or something into Google. I know I had to wade through a bunch of stuff and I'm sure I got to Rayzoon.com through another site that came up in the search results. Can't remember which one though.
Imagine my surprise when I came upon some great software at a great price! |

I chose 'Word Of Mouth' rather than Some Forum... But I heard it on the Cubase.net forum and was getting good praise among fellow Cubasers.

KVR and Samplitude forums.
The dfhSuperior demo guy at NAMM loved it too.

JS? says I... no I heard about J's but not about JS... wtf is it? ya smoke it or what dude?
"No no man, you don't smoke it"... "It smokes itself" ..."you just dig it, ya see, ... it's a groove thing, it's c-o-o-l, it's tight, ...ya gotta try it dude"
.... go to doubleyoudoubleyoudoubleyouDoTrazuuuunnne, like in rayzuunehell and check it out...
I never should have listened to that guy, but it's too late now.. |

hello,
where i FIRST heared of JS i dont know. i only know that i loved the idea of this programm (a drummer for jammin) and tried the demo and as i remember i got no sound out of this programm . the user interface is too complicated.
the second time i herad about it was in the german magazin called "keyboards". it was a short test/summary of JS. and there was written that this programm does this what i was looking for. A drummer for jammin. i tried the demo a second time with the pdf how to set a free jam and it worked and i bougt some days later the hole pack for special christmas price.
the sound are great but for me just for jammin there should be a easy jam user interface . |

I was browsing the fxpansion forum over at KvR and Angus was talking about this new product they were trying out with BFD so I shot over to the Rayzoon site and the rest is history. . . . _________________ Core 2 E6600, 2GB RAM, 2x320 SATA II HD

I'm pretty sure it was the Cakewalk Sonar forum. But I've been using Jamstix a bit too long and my short term memory is totally shot. |
