synthfont soundfont player and jamstix

Hi All,

I stumbled across this http://www.synthfont.com/ a few weeks ago. pretty cool. it will let you map soundfonts to a midi track and it works without the need of a soundfont capable soundcard. It claims to support VST but cant get jamstix to play along. I am able to get the audiom8 loaded as an effect and actually get a bouncing meter Smile I can load up jamstix and bring up its interface. I switch to audio mode but no sounds. If I try to hit play jamstix says "no running host" basically.

any help on this would be great.

ok I tried. still like synthfont better. so still would like to get jamstix working with that if possible,

As far as I can tell, SynthFont does not send VSTi song position information so you cannot synch Jamstix with it. That's why Jamstix says 'no running host'.
