|
|
| I was using the demo, and all was working well, then i purchased the full version and now it will not work, I uninstalled the demo, first, but then discovered that it was still in the VSTi folder of my software, (I use MTS) I tried uninstalling, but to no avail. What happens is that it starts to load and then it pushes the CPU to 100% and locks up the program. If it does happen to finish loading it comes out with a fake GUI that MTS builds for it to make it look like it's Plugins, Then demo dod not do this. Any ideas what to do |

Two things:
a) This may be an issue with the activation dialog in your particular host. Please use another host (i.e. the free MiniHost from www.tobybear.de) to load jamstix.dll and perform the activation.
b) If you are using Windows XP SP2, please check this fix:

Let me know if this doesn't help. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

| I was able to activate it in N-Tracks, but when i open a file in N-T it continually trys to load the drum samples and my CPU meter reads 275% and the computer locks up, In MTS it just goes to 100% and stops working. I have several songs with JS as the drum VSTi and now none will open up. Should I try another uninstall? I am still on SP1 not 2. |

Make sure you installed the samples, which means you must run the jamstix_data_setup.exe (210MB) file and point it to the same place as you did with the first install. The result will be a bunch of rzd files in the 'samples' subfolder of your Jamstix folder. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Error 2335 is some kind of path error in the Windows Installer software (MSI). Can you double-check the number?
We'll get you up and running...hang in there. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Got it. According to Microsoft this means:
The cabinet file '[2]' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package.
Most likely cause is corruption during download. Please re-download the file and try again. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
