just a few short questions:
will there be a mac version, and will owners of the pc version recieve it for free (or at least cheaper)? (currently still on pc, but my next computer will be a mac)
will jamstix 2 have an equally low price as jamstix 1? |

The Mac version is so far in the future that pricing has not been discussed at all. It is VERY unlikely that Jamstix 2 will be released as a Mac version this year.
Jamstix 2 will likely be split into two products (Standard and Pro) with the Pro version having a higher price tag than Jamstix 1 today.
All Jamstix 1 owners will of course have low-priced update options for both versions.
Don't quote me on any of this as it is still in flux.

| oooooh..... now you got me interested... so js 2 will have 2 versions... can you let us know what the differences might be between pro and standard? (btw, any more percussion going to be coming into js 2? or is that all going into jamcussion now?)... |

I can't really say much about the details on JS2. It's all in flux. Percussion will be a separate plugin via Jamcussion.
The basic concept of the JS2 version split is that many existing and new pro features that are not used by most hobby users will move into the Pro version.
