You should have warned me!!! I bought Jamstix Jamboree a few hours ago and I already developed an addiction to it.... It is just amazing! IMO this is the most innovative virtual instrument created in the last few years! Incredible work, zauni!
I didn't have much time (yet) to master the interface, and all the functionalities it has, but I am re-doing the drums of a song. This song at some point needs a complete stop of the drums. It would be easy if this stop started at the beginning of the bar, but it didn't. the drums should play until the 4th octave then stop completely and start over at the beginning on the next bar...Is there an easy way to achieve this?
Thank you! _________________ AMDx2 4600+-K8Npro-3Gb Ram-Fierface-BCF2000-Win XP pro sp2-Cubase SX3.1.1.944

This will be easy in Jamstix 2 where you will have start and end ticks for each bar.
In Jamstix 1 you can either edit the rhythm or use a custom fill to do this. Did you mean you want the drums to stop on beat 4 with the last sounds on beat 4? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Did I write octave? Language mismatch!! What I meant was:
take a bar, divide it in 8th (not octaves) play the first 4 8th (or 3 or 6 or whatever) stop until the end of the bar, and start again... I will dig into creating a custom fill in manual mode...
BTW, any news on jam-bass release? jamstix and jambass will be a killer combo!!

No news on Jam Bass other than we're working on it.
Here is a fill that will stop the rhythm at bar 3 (4th 8th) with a kick and crash.
Simply copy it to your 'accents' folder and restart Jamstix then select it as the fill for the bar in question as 'Stop On 3'.
Let me know if this works for you.

Wow!
I didn't expect such a support! It never ever happened anywhere else!
Thanks a lot!!!!!! What a wonderful service you give.
I will try it out later but Im sure it is what I meant. I notice those are text files, so I wonder if I can learn a little on how to program fills intros and endings...I will try _________________ AMDx2 4600+-K8Npro-3Gb Ram-Fierface-BCF2000-Win XP pro sp2-Cubase SX3.1.1.944
