Hi all,
I just got Jamstix yesterday as well as the drumpak 1 + 2 & brushpak... Anyone, I really can't get Jamstix to work as the way that I wanted... I'm using it with Cubase SX, by the way... Here is the problem:
1. I have a song in which that the first 16 bars are only piano + guitar, no drum, bass or any other sounds. At bar 17th, I want a fill and then full drums + bass + synth stuffs.
2. Jamstix (having set it with manual mode - don't know if this is the correct mode) starts playing from the beginning... I went to the arrange mode and can't seems to delete the first 16 bars, when I try to delete, it delete from the last bar going backward.
So I'm stuck Can anyone help me??? I haven't arrange any part of the drums yet, only using the presets.
Thank you,
Kenny. |

Hi Kenny,
Jamstix can be confusing at first, there's a lot under the hood in a small screen space. We'll help you through it!
Please click the 'Mute' function in the arranger and then click all the bars in the beginning that you'd like muted (they will turn black). Now select your first rhythm in the rhythm tab and then right-click on the first bar in the arranger where you'd like a fill and pick one from the list. Use the note icon in the selector dialog to switch on previewing if needed. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
