loud squeal when bringing up jamstix vsti module

H i
When in a project with jamstix already running, whether in play or paused, i get very loud 2-3 second squeal when i click on vsti button to bring up jamstix interface. this wasn't happening in demo version.
any ideas?

This is fixed in the current beta. Please rename your current jamstix.dll to jamstix.142 or so and then copy the DLL from the ZIP in this thread:
