If you experience delayed notes when recording MIDI output of Jamstix in Cubase SX, here is something that one of our users (mab) found out:

"I believe in cubase, the default in VST audio bay under expert was the issue. I or the default had audio priority set at high, changed to normal, also cleared out adjust for record latency and zero in record placement offset. Evidently the high priority in cubase can cause midi timing to suffer check out the help description under this box."
