|

1. I want a metal shaker only in a certain part of a song. But the shaker isn't part of a rhythm so it's always on... Is there a way to put the shaker into a specific rhythm? (BTW Strangely enough the shaker isn't audible during a complete pattern in which I have a intro!)
2. Because I don't know how to do what I just asked, I decided to add some track envelopes in Sonar 4 to get things the way I want them. But... how to do that? In the manual there is a huge list of all things you can control using envelopes but they don't show up with name and all in Sonar. All I get is a window in which I can choose a Control by number but these numbers aren't in the manual... When I use the TT1 (for instance) the value part of the screen gives a popup list of all available controls with names and all.
So if anyone here can explain me how get going with Jamstix-envelopes in Sonar, please do so!
3. The shaker seems to be a bit ahead of the rest (even of the other Jamstix drums). Anything I can do about that?
P.S. I'm using the brushpack and loaded the default brush mapping. |

And here is the answer for question 2:

I just found this one on this forum (posted somewhere in october). I can't check it now (I'm at a different computer now), but I suppose this is it. Never ever thought to check out NRPN... (Maybe it's an idea to add this to the manual...!) |
