I've been having great fun jamming along with Jamstix but am stuck trying to create a drum track to go along with the attached bassline. If anybody can help I would be very grateful.
The bassline is here:

I don;t seem to be able to create a fast ride cybal to go over the top of the beat.
Thanks

What's your BPM and are you trying to do permanent 16th on the ride with the 16th box? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Ralph,
I think that I may be trying to run before I can walk here and maybe I need to spend some time with the manual fully understanding the product.
The BPM is set to 100 and the drums seem to be completely out of time with the bass track. This is the sort of thing I was hoping to acheive:

but as I say maybe I need to learn the basics first.

I think the problem is that the drum rhythm example you gave is at 200BPM, not 100BPM. Here is an example of Jamstix with DrumPak #2 playing a comparable rhythm with your bassline at 200BPM:

Here is the arrangement if you want to check this out yourself. Just load it into Jamstix via the disk icon in the arranger:

Hope this helps! _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Ralph,
That is absolutly amazing . Your outstanding product is only surpassed by your even more outstanding support . We're not worthy.......
I will try to dissect this later and hopefully work out how you did it.
Thanks again
