Hi all,

getting into this soundtrack/ambient sort of stuff at the moment, and just wondering if Jamstix can do tribal sort of beats, using toms n stuff (I a no drummer, so I dont know what i'm talking about (thats why I bought Jamstix)) like LOTR type stuff and Halo (game).

know what I mean? (not sure if i do...)

I think you're looking for 'Stormdrum' kinda stuff.

You can program such beats in Jamstix but they require specific drums (Taiko etc.) not drumset toms. If you have Stormdrum, you can load it into JS and off you go. I specifically recommend putting a big Taiko drum etc. on the hihats for maximum 'power' effect.
