Hello! . This one seems to be a very nice piece of software! But.....
Demo downloaded. Jamstix loaded into Cubase SX3. Vsti loaded into Jamstix (Best Service's Artist's Drums)...Midi channel set...with the sound module to redirect sound to vsti monitor on... No Sound at all. Only a female voice counting with metronome. After a while. Stops in Bar 6 or so and will not move from there. I am really interested in this software but find it difficult to start. Will try the demo that comes with sounds. Maybe is a problem with the Vsti drum module that I chose.

Hi Roy,
Try the full demo first and do this:

- new SX project
- add jamstix to the VST rack
- click 'Free Jam' in the jam tab
- hit Play in SX

After a few beats Jamstix should start playing drums. Let me know when you have this going and then we'll talk about the external VSTi.

Hi thanx for reply
I downloaded the full version and , at least , the internal sounds of Jamstix work!
Now it is a matter of trying to make Artist Drums work with Jamstix!
Thanks again

After checking that Jamstix is ok with its internal sounds , I changed to external vst , choosing Artist Drums dll. Loaded a GM set and ...Jamstix stopped. No more sync. no more bars in Jamstix counter. Why is that?
thanks

Hi Roy,
I'm not sure how many outputs Artists Drums has but if it's more than 4 stereo then you need to increase the outputs in the mapping tab of Jamstix to match that number.

The full version of Jamstix will tell you if you need more outputs, the demo will either continue to work or crash.
