Hi all.

For the life of me I cant get my head around midi.....I know this will be a basic question but it has me beat.

And I'm sure this is in no way a Jamstix problem, but

I have a midi controller keyboard (using cubase) and have jamstix sending midi out only to battery (ie battery isnt internally loaded into Jamstix). I want to set one of the midi controllers knobs to control velocity, which I can get going easily enough by assigning the CC on the Jamstix first screen, but when I play notes on the controller, it triggers the synth i have setup, but also the battery samples! - I cant seem to stop this happening... I just want the controller knob to control Jamstix velocity, but controllers keys to play the softsynth.....any ideas would be greatly appreciated. cheers guys.

Uncheck "Play Input" in the jam tab.
