IS there any difference in behavior (and if so, how) between jamming with Jamstix with a bass or guitar? When I record, I usually have the bass, keys and guitar parts all worked out already... so in order to use Jamstix to it's full potential, should I jam with audio to the bass (since it tends to have a more rhytmic approach) or to the guitar (which will usually have a more fluid, melodic performance)?

Will jamming w/ audio on the bass result in a more powerful, smoother rhythm pattern than on guitar?

Or does it not matter, really?

It doesn't really matter since audio jamming is just using the averaged volume of the signal.

It does matter for MIDI jamming since then Jamstix uses harmonic analysis as well.
