Now if I use BFD, I need to set the outputs to 9, correct? _________________ Pentium Dual Core 3.2GHz

Depends on the BFD DLL. Stereo needs 2, All needs 9 and Ultra needs 17.
Jamstix 1.42 will tell you if you do not have enough outputs.
A side note: all this talk about splitting kick and snare to different outputs applies to Jamstix internal sounds only, of course. If you use BFD or another library, the split is done in that library. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

It's not the scanning that is the problem, it's publishing the scanned article on the net. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

I try to answer posts quickly because maintaining a forum is far more efficient than answering the same questions a hundred times via e-mail. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
