I am not clear on how the different mappings are are used. I use jamstix with DFHS. I notice there are 4 or so different mappings ie. 900mb,600mb ect... How does Jamstix react to these different mappings. For example if I load the smaller drum map does jamstix alter the sounds it is triggering so it will not trigger a sample that is not loaded in that mapping? Will jamstix just try and trigger the same sounds regardless of what mapping you have loaded and there for you will not get a sound when that particular drum is triggered. It seems to me if you use the smallest drum map you will be missing quite a few hits.......
I want to have a nice small kit but I do not want the not loaded light to go off. |

The DFHS kits are not different in number of sounds but in complexity of sounds. DFHS allows you to select varying degress of realism for each sound. The higher the realism, the higher the memory consumption. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
