I have just being going through some older projects (around May 2005) to see what to work on next, and I have found that on projects around this time or earlier, Jamstix fails to load. It goes through the loading of the drums, etc with the green rectangle box, as the mixer is loaded at the beginning of Cubase but then it just stays there - Cubase does not move onto the next VSTi or Effect to load.

Cubase does not hang, it says it is still running, almost as though Jamstix has not told Cubase it has finished yet.

In the same session I loaded a recent project and then loaded the older project and vice versa and each time the older projects will not load. If I remove jamstix.dll from the normal library the projects load perfectly but inform me that Jamstix was not found.

I cannot tell you want version of Jamstix was loaded when it was last saved back in May, but I was expecting Jamstix to be backward compatible to older versions.

Any ideas?

Jamstix should open older projects just fine but we did find some issues under certain circumstances and versions. Sorry about that!

Could you send us an example CPR to support @ rayzoon.com?

Also, could you send us the rzdlog.txt file from the Jamstix directory right after a failed load?
