You say I can use any intro that starts on the 3.
Do I just have to try them all out to see which ones do start on 3? just do it 'by ear'?

If you click on an intro in the selector dialog, it will 'Start at 1' etc. underneath the list.

So for a drummer to 'break down' or do an outro off a chorus (for example) do I just select a fill for the last bar of the chorus and leave the bar after that muted

That should do it. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

OK Guys
I've got it now!
Yep... I can see where the little info strip comes up saying what beat of the bar the fill starts on... easy!
I 'trialed' a few beats.... and altough I was saying that I wanted beats that start on 3... and I do.... (they are there in abundance) ... fills that start on 4 are more of what I want... all 60's pop and also punk music has that quick snare roll that starts on 4...
However as far as I can see there is only one fill that starts on the 4.
Can we have a bigger selection of fills that start on 4??? (please?) - (Like 10 of them!)
Also- I tested out the differnce between a fill with a muted bar after it and a outro fill... seems they do sound the same (as you have always said) just the outro has a crash cymbal and stops any other bars playing.
I think I'm really on top of this issue now... thansk to all the help on this forum!

Some kind of 'Fill Option' selector would be handy, so that all fills are either full-bar; start on 3; or start on 4.
This would be useful when you're in free-jam mode and don't want to program anything, but you want all free-jam fills to follow a certain format.

We are planning the use of key words on fills and accents in Jamstix 2 so that you can do this and also other, custom filtering for specific projects. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
