Once I have an arrangement close to what I want/need and bounce to a MIDI file - is there away to play that file back thru Jamstix using only the sounds and not the jam mode?
I'd like to finetune a few of the hits in the MIDI file but still use JS as a sound module for the drums.
thanks

Yes, you can do that. Just set Jamstix to 'Manual Jam' in the jam tab and check the boxes 'Play Input' and 'Mute Brain'. Jamstix will now play back MIDI data sent to it just like any other drum sampler. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thanks Ralph, I figured it was something pretty simple. I did the "mute brain", but I never went to manual jam.
BTW, the reason I wanted to do this was because I thought the sounds you have were just as good as what I could get from DFH (at least for this particular song), especially without all the mapping and configuring (etc). |
