Hi, I noticed on the drum module tutorial that in the mapping menu, you have Battery DFH close mic rdm. and battery dfh room mic .rdm. But these don't exist in the demo. Will they be available in the retail version? I really can see the potential of drumstix and I gotta have those dfh sounds. I'm running cubase sx 1.06, battery 1 and the original drumkit from hell. But when I try using battery with the dfh room or close mappings I don't hear the hats ride etc. Mostly kick and toms. When I play the Jamstix internal, I get the appropriate sounds. Any advice. Thanks Tim

The problem is that the DFH sounds use their own mapping. You can either create your own by selecting each sound in the mapping tab and then specifying the right key to use for it (make sure 'Map GM Input' box is unchecked while you edit your mapping) or you can wait for the full version of Jamstix which will have the two DFH mappings you mentioned.

Hey Zauni, Thanks for the reply. I'm glad to hear that the full version will have the DFH mappings!

Will there be a way to mix the close and room sounds while running Jamstix?

Tim,
the main work that the DFH mappings do for you is the key mapping. You can easily load one of them and then change sample files in the DFH configuration screen and save the result as a new mapping.
