I only ever seem to contribute by asking for something - sorry about that. My only defence is that I've purchased the whole caboodle up to now Smile .

The 'Toggle Locks' is useful, but one other option I would find even more useful is a 'Lock All'.

If I've been working my way through a part, I'm likely to have a combination of locked cells (where I have made some sort of decision) and unlocked cells (where I've just allowed Jamstix to do its own thing). Now the part is how I want it, I need to lock every cell. Unless I've missed it, my only two options are to go through and indvidually lock the unlocked cells (if the number of existing locked cells is high) or do a Toggle Lock and then individually re-lock the cells I have now unlocked.

Thinking about it, some people might find a use for an 'Unlock All'. If this existed, then I could unlock the locked cells and then use Toggle Lock to lock all of them at once. This might be a more flexible approach.

Not sure if I understand correctly. I have an arrangement with a few bars locked. When I click 'Toggle Lock', every bar gets locked except for those who haven't been played, yet (no data to lock). If I click 'Toggle Locks' again, all locks get released just like your proposed 'Unlock All'.

OK - seems I have missed something. What was confusing me, when playing around with the Toggle command, was two things.

Firstly, it doesn't actually do a 'toggle' at all. From the description, I would expect any locked bars to be unlocked and vice-versa (assuming they have been played at least once). I would then expect a second click to reverse those lock/unlock states. However it does work in the way you describe - and I accept my error in missing that.

Secondly - and this is why I was really getting confused - if you have some muted blocks and hit the 'Toggle Lock' they will be unlocked. However, a second hit does not lock any muted bars.
