I've downloaded the Jamstix full version and unistalled the Jamstix demo prior to installing the download but when opening Cubase and selecting Jamstix fron the VST instruments its coming up as the demo version. I've tried deleting the entire folder steinberg/vstinstruments/jamstix and reinstalling but again in cubase I am getting the demo version. In the instructions it asks for the text file but on install I dont get asked for this. I know it must be something simple so can you tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks |

Sounds as if you have a 'jamstix demo' folder left in your system that Cubase is still getting its Jamstix from. Make sure you remove that folder and make sure Cubase 'sees' the 'jamstix' folder of your full version in its plugin settings. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

| Found the problem Ralph, I have two vst plugings folders, steinberg/vstplugins and steinberg/sx3/vstplugins. Removed the demo and all is working OK. I'm very impressed with this. Hopefully someone will come up with a comprehensive video tutorial to reduce the learning curve a bit and demonstrate different ways of working with Jamstix This link may interesting to any budding homegrown tutorial authors. These are SX tutorials that the guy has obviously produced on the fly and he's provided them for free. http://www.dancetech.com/aa_dt_new/index.cfm |

Glad you're up and running now!
We do have some video tutorials on the 'Demos' page and will develop more material in the coming months. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
