Hi Ralph - I have a suggestion about implementing a feature regarding Auditioining Intros, Fills and Endings
I tend to work very methodically so this suggestion might just reflect my own prefered approach.
Lets say I set up my host to loop a section of my arrangement which contains a fill. (or Intro or Ending)
I then set jamsticks to automatically reset the bar containing the fill and on the next loop play the next available fill as it would appear in the fill section drop down list.
I would be able to watch which fill has been selected by selecting the Rhythm Tab. Any fills I particularly feel are working with the song I could note down.
Don't get me wrong I also like Jamstix to surprise me with its own selections as well but there are times when a systematic audition feature would be useful.
Something for the board to think about as well maybe. |

I see your point. Certainly something to chew on... _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Hi Ralph
Have managed to find a good workaround by looping a section of the song and hovering in the Arrangement window so as to reset the fill on each pass. Still get to hear lots of fills and retain the element of surprise - crucial for spontaneity
You were right not to chew too hard
Regards
PS This program really does allow a unique and personal work approach that I've never really encountered before with software. Hays off to you sir!! |
