Just posted another demo in the top of this thread. It's the song 'Infatuated Over You' that was discussed here: http://rayzoon.com/v-web/bulletin/bb/viewtopic.php?t=610

This collaboration turned out exquisitely and we used the song to try out the BrushPak. The drums in the demo are too loud and too busy since it's demoing the drums. Please notice how the snare gets more aggressive in the B section starting at 1:05 and then backs down again at 1:28. We have a large dynamic range in the brush snare so that such things can be done and also to ensure that the Brushpak works well for gentle jazz work and 'rock brush' alike.

Hallo Ralph,
I'm new here on this marketplace.
My taste is jazz, jazz and once more: jazz! Mainly swing.
May I expext lots of swinging rhythms coming up in your brush kit like your demo on http://66.235.201.50/demos/brushpak_infatuated.mp3 ?
In fact that's the only one, which comes close to my expectations.
May I expect some really driving basic grooves in various tempi?
Intros, fills and endings?
If so - I will try to be amongst your first customers.

Hi Juergen and welcome to the board.

The BrushPak will have lots of jazzy rhythms and should satisfy many of your needs. We will provide audio examples of various rhythms as it nears release.

As far as intros and fills are concerned: we will have some new ones but it is funny how well the standard Jamstix fills etc. fit into jazzy arrangements once you use a brush kit.

We will offer BrushPak as a split file download as well as a single file download. We'll take the split files down to 20MB or maybe even 10MB so it should be workable on a 56k connection.

Well, BrushPak only works with Jamstix so you have to be an existing customer to use BrushPak Smile

i asked earlier, ralph said it would be $7 for existing customers Laughing

i think the introductory price of $19 is pretty damn good.

errr right of course you need JS to use brush pack, understood... I guess what I really meant was if there would be a special price for 'existing' i.e., your old customers.... but listen, it don't really matter to me that much... when it's for sale I'll buy it Cool Laughing
