Please go the About tab in Jamstix and verify that it says X6-7. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Solved it and boy am I embarassed especially for a guy who graduated summa cum laude with a degree in math. I loaded jamstix into sonar allowing it to create tracks for all outputs. There were 16 in total, setup for Battery 2. It didn't occur to me that these were 16 stereo pairs, so technically there were 32 outputs in pairs of 16. This should have dawned on me when output 1 was mapped in sonar to outputs 1-2. So I kept adding an audio track for the metronome for jamstix output 3-4, in order to hear the metronome on output 3, when what I should have been adding was jamstix output pair 5-6. The metronome sounded when I added all outputs and I tracked it down to the third output pair, jamstix outputs 5-6. Thank you for whatever time you spent thinking about this, and my profound apologies for wasting your time.

No problem, Dave!
By the way, if you need mono outputs for Battery 2, you can specify this line:
StereoOutputs=0
in the [General] section of your jamstix.ini file. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
