If I use the download link/password in my original delivery e-mail will I be downloading the latest version or will I need to patch?

Depends on how old your ID/password is. If you get access denied on the full install files then you need to use your old install files and then use the 1.32 updater.

If you can acess the full install files then use those as they are 1.32 already.

If I simply copy all the Jamstix folders over to the new PC will it work ok or do you have to run the installer? (I'll probably try this in due course - just a bit tied up transferring all the other gubbins at the mo

Copy works fine. You'll just have to select the Jamstix directory when prompted during the first launch of Jamstix.
